Automation Design Acquires Midwest CAD
Update Jan 7 - TenLinks learns that
Automation Design acquired Midwest CAD of Holmen, Wisconsin and that the
acquisition actually took place last year.
Update, Jan 5 - Due to several
companies with names similar to Midwest CAD, TenLinks has asked
Automation Design for clarification as to which company was acquired.
This news item will be updated when a response is received.
Not affected is Mid-West CAD of Lee’s Summit, Missouri

CROSSE WI, 2007 - Automation Design, LLC of La Crosse Wisconsin, announced
that the company has acquired Midwest CAD of Holmen, Wisconsin.
Mark Nohr, CEO at Automation Design said that, "Midwest CAD brings
immediate skilled resources to our team to accommodate the growing demand
for technical design services in the retail industry. The furniture industry
is ripe with opportunity toward design efficiency."
Automation Design provides design and technical consulting to the
Industrial, retail and commercial design industries. Mark Nohr is a past CAD
manager for the Ashley furniture industries in the Home store division and
also teaches Architectural CAD design at the college level.
"We're also very pleased to announce that Mike Osgood, furniture retail
store designer, has joined the Automation Design team," Nohr said. "Mike has
a masters degree in Architecture and years of proven experience in the
retail design industry. He is very skilled at enhancing the retail
destination with proven results. He will take the position of retail
projects director and report directly to the CEO."
