Autodsys Releases AcceliCAD 2010
Suggested retail price $399
PORTLAND,
OR, May 7, 2009 - Autodsys, Inc. today announced the release of AcceliCAD
2010. The fifth major release of AcceliCAD, it adds significant enhancements
and improvements to nearly every aspect of operation.
"With this release we listened carefully to users and those who were
building applications for AcceliCAD", said Ronald Prepchuk, President of
Autodsys. "We wanted to create the fastest, most stable version, and add the
features that users have been asking us for. The responses from our Beta
testers indicate we have met that goal."
AcceliCAD is used as both a general purpose CAD program and as a platform
for vertical applications. Hundreds of third-party products are available
for AcceliCAD including those for the architectural, mapping, civil,
mechanical, and structural fields.
“AcceliCAD has been accepted around the world as a powerful alternative
for those looking for a wealth of features at a low cost”, said Mr. Prepchuk.
“AcceliCAD 2010 is the most powerful CAD product in its price range .”

staggered, ordinate, radius, and datum point.
- Dimension-driven editing, allowing a user to modify a dimension and
see the object change to match the new dimension.
- Entity information window that displays relevant information about
an object when the user places the cursor over it. This feature also
works with ArchT objects to display the object type, style, and size.
- Snapping to model-space entities from paper-space viewports
- Polar angle tracking
- Floating prompt menus that put command options right at the cursor
location
