Altadyn Ships 3DXplorer Enterprise Edition

France, Aug 20, 2009 - Altadyn, the developer of 3DXplorer, the first
browser-based plug-in-less 3D platform for synchronous collaboration, today
announced the release of its new product line, 3DXplorer Enterprise Edition,
with immediate availability. All 3DXplorer SaaS based products are now also
available for installation on corporate servers behind the firewall.

Demanding customers with specific requirements in terms of performance of
the servers, security of their data, or even due to specific geographic
distribution of their users, now have the choice of using their own network
infrastructure and use 3DXplorer as a traditional software, installed on
their own servers and managed by their own IT team, instead of using it in
the standard SaaS mode (Software as a Service).
Tiered product levels allow for efficient customer adoption and
implementation. Customers can start with immediately available SaaS plans,
and progress smoothly from testing a proof-of concept to integrating a
matured solution by leveraging our dual SaaS/Enterprise model (fig. 1). The
Enterprise Edition server software itself is easy to install, requires
minimal bandwidth to deliver and only a low-grade computer for end-users to
access (no software or plug-ins needed to install on end-user computers). In
fact, the deployment is extremely simple as there is no client software to
install. The Enterprise Edition puts full control of development and
customization in customers hands.
