The latest results of the strategic alliance include:
3DLive Now Available on Windows Vista Platform
DS’s 3DLive is a revolutionary, lightweight solution that leverages the
full power of real-time 3D through an intuitive user interface enabling
users to search, navigate and collaborate online.
DS’s strategic relationship with Microsoft enables Windows Vista users to
enjoy a number of benefits as 3DLive:
- Delivers faster access to relevant data through 3D search and
navigation;
- Uses improved Windows Vista security to enable more secure 3D
real-time collaboration;
- Improves productivity by providing a common 3D work environment
using standard XML for data sharing;
- Facilitates easy business processes synchronization by making
optimal use of common DS-Microsoft service oriented architecture (SOA);
- Reaches more users offering lower total cost of ownership,
deployment and maintenance and;
- Provides easy integration with Microsoft Office system.
Microsoft Offers Improved Performance for SIMULIA Abaqus FEA Software
Abaqus’ Unified Finite Element Analysis (FEA) solution offered by its
SIMULIA brand will be supported by Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server
2003. The software suite (Abaqus Version 6.7-2) delivers accurate, robust,
high performance solutions for challenging non-linear problems, large scale
linear dynamics applications, and routine design simulations.
When combined with Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003, Abaqus
accelerates time-to-insight by leveraging a high-performance computing (HPC)
platform that simplifies deployment, operation, and integration. As a
result, Unified FEA simulation software running on compute clusters allow
engineering teams to perform more analyses in less time, leading to improved
product performance and reduced costs.
ENOVIA MatrixOne Supports Microsoft SQL Server 2005
ENOVIA MatrixOne supports SQL Server 2005, Microsoft’s data platform
solution that delivers increased security, scalability, and availability to
enterprise data and analytical applications, while making them easier to
build, deploy, and manage. The advanced technologies in SQL Server 2005 help
ENOVIA MatrixOne customers reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and drive
greater organizational efficiency through enterprise data management and
business intelligence.
DS to deliver product intellectual property protection through the use
of Microsoft’s Right Management Services
Utilizing Microsoft Rights Management Services (RMS), DS will deliver the
ability to help safeguard product know-how and intellectual property (IP)
from unauthorized use, online and offline, as well as both inside and
outside the firewall. DS’s V5 PLM Service Oriented Architecture will use the
security technologies of RMS including encryption, authentication, and usage
policies to provide reliable PLM digital information protection to enable DS
customers to safely collaborate in today’s global environment. Through the
combination of DS’s V5 PLM SOA based authoring and collaboration tools and
Microsoft’s RMS technology, customers will reduce their exposure to misuse
of their valuable PLM intellectual property while maintaining their
organizational efficiency through safe, reliable collaboration.
Representatives from Microsoft will be presenting at Dassault Systèmes’
upcoming developers conference, Devcon, in Paris, on June 26-27, 2007, to
learn how to use the CAA partner program and discover the latest information
about DS’s key technological advances. More information on DEVCON can be
