3D Systems Ships iPro 8000 SLA Precision Center

solutions, announced today the launch and immediate availability of the iPro 8000 SLA Center, a new, high-productivity, mid-range system that
offers all the performance attributes and benefits of its latest
generation iPro SLA Precision Centers in a smaller format and compact
footprint.
 The iPro 8000 SLA Center is designed to quickly and economically build
small and large parts with unprecedented surface smoothness, feature
resolution, edge definition and tolerances that rival the accuracy of
CNC-machined parts. Based on decades of 3D Systems' patented SLA technology,
the system features a new generation, proprietary ProScan digital scanning
system that is equipped with a new, state-of-the-art SteadyPower Imager for
reliable output and repeatability. In combination with 3D Systems' versatile
portfolio of Accura Materials, this next-generation SLA Center provides
exceptional part-building capabilities, superior quality control and faster,
cleaner materials' changeover.
3D Systems plans to unveil and demonstrate tomorrow its new iPro 8000 SLA
Center as part of its planned Stereolithography product launches at its
World Conference in Charlotte, NC. 3D Systems plans to accept orders for
this new system starting this week for fourth-quarter 2008 shipments.
