3D Systems Launches V-Flash Desktop Modeler
ROCK
HILL,
SC, Sep 25, 2007 - 3D Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TDSC), a leading provider of
3-D Modeling, Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, announced today
the launch of its fast, compact V-Flash Desktop Modeler that builds
ready-to-use models within hours at home, school or office workstations.
This highly anticipated modeler enables designers, engineers, hobbyists
and students to imagine, design and produce their ideas at their desks. The
V-Flash Desktop Modeler is the first product that 3D Systems plans to bring

3D Systems expects to conduct a managed phased roll-out of its V-Flash
Desktop Modeler, starting in the United States following its World

of the V-Flash Modeler into Europe during the first quarter of 2008. It
expects to place up to 100 systems in the marketplace before the end of the
year. Together with Dreve, 3D Systems also expects to launch of the V-Flash
HA 230 hearing aid manufacturing system later this year. Dreve develops and
manufactures resins, including resins used for the manufacture of hearing
aid shells and ear molds.

expedites part delivery and revolutionizes concept design as we know it,”
said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems’ president and chief executive officer.
“With the capability to create high-quality, ready-to-use, three-dimensional
models in the office, home or school setting, and the affordability of this
solution, we believe that this modeler will usher in a new expansion era of
Rapid Prototyping to a broader range of market applications.”
Today, 3D Systems’ Buddy Byrum, Senior Director, Global Marketing, 3-D
Modeling, will give a presentation on the V-Flash Desktop Modeler at the 3D
Systems World Conference during his keynote address titled, “V-Flash:
Desktop Modeling Becomes a Reality.” V-Flash Desktop Modelers will be on
display at numerous venues throughout the 3D Systems World Conference from
September 24-27, 2007.
