Japan's Nihon Weed Buys 3D Systems Sinterstation Pro SLS

SC, Apr 9, 2008 - 3D Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TDSC), of 3D modeling, rapid
prototyping and manufacturing solutions, announced today that Nihon Weed
of Tokyo, Japan, has purchased a Sinterstation Pro 230 SLS system to
meet its customers' increasing demand for functional, durable automotive
parts. Already experiencing success with a 3D Systems' SLA 7000
System, Nihon Weed has expanded its rapid prototyping and manufacturing
capabilities with a Sinterstation Pro 230 SLS System to produce large
prototypes within hours or days for its automotive customers.

Sinterstation Pro 230 SLS System uses proven technology to transform

toughest available plastics.
