TenLinks needs a personable and persistent advertising sales professional who can close deals. If you are tenacious, motivated, smart and hard working individual capable of understanding and promoting bold new online advertising concepts, TenLinks wants you. You will be selling advertising not only on the TenLinks network of websites and newsletters but also on a network of blogs and independent websites in the CAD, CAM and CAE industry. The concept has met with excellent approval and proposals have been sent to several companies. We need someone who can not only close these deals but also present this concept to additional customers.

Job Description

• Prepare proposals for new and existing customers
• Explain to customers how an ad network can best increase their visibility and sales
• Manage ad network, including many independent websites, blogs
• Must be able to present via phone, online (like WebEx), or in person (PowerPoint)
• Follow-up as needed as needed to ensure sales
• Maintain customer database (Outlook, ACT or SalesForce), log calls, schedule follow ups, etc.
• Learn and use ad serving software
• Create contracts for signature for customers
• Work with accounting to ensure invoices sent, payment received
• Prepare sales and marketing literature
• Maintain and update online media kit
• Travel very possible, may include trade shows, customer presentations
• Maintain online CAD store (10-20% of time)

Requirements

Must get to know audience and be comfortable in technical environment of engineers, architects and be able to learn subject as needed to be effective

• Mandatory computer skills include MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• MS Access a plus
• Bachelors degree from accredited institution preferred
• Self-motivated, project-oriented, do-what-it-takes mentality
• Must be able to work independently -- after training period, of course.
• Salary plus commission and bonuses.

Flexible schedule, but hours can be long or irregular, depending on job needs.

Position is full time, based in Novato.
